I (and Many of my friends) use DGP with GREAT Success!

For 4 years I have used DGP for both of my dogs. And, many of my friends from the dog park and from my agility club also swear by DGP.

With regard to the other review about DGP side effects -- I too did my research before I tried DGP and called American BioSciences to ask about any potential side effects and I found them to be VERY truthful. They did tell me that there have been occassional gastrointestinal events and possible allergic reactions. But frankly as a dog owner we should all know this is a possibility with anything new you give your dog (or take your self) especially if your dog tends to have other allergies or develop stomach issues with new foods, treats, supplements or medications.

I take offense to the the other review blaming such a great product for their dogs death when they have absolutely NO proof. It is one thing if your dog had side effects and DGP is the only thing you changed so I guess you could assume BUT if the dog dies it is NOT RIGHT to blame a product unless you know! They didnt even say what the cause of death was so how can they make such a claim.

Why does this bother me so much? Because I think this irresponsible and unsubstantiated accusation will deter others from trying DGP which helps pets live an active life. Furthermore, DGP can actually save lives! I think of all the dogs I know who are taking DGP and how many of them could have possibly died from the prescription medications (like Rimadyl) or even worse be put down before there time.

It is very sad and I feel very sorry that they lost their best friend but please do not blame DGP unless you have indisputable proof. DGP is the BEST!
